By Laura, UK registered nurse
For years my dinners were cereal, packet soup, instant noodles, or a takeaway washed down with a gin and tonic. I was a nurse. I knew better. I had come off a thirteen hour shift with nothing left to decide with.
These days I prep my food and I take every break. The difference was never knowledge. It was having dinner decided before I was too tired to decide.
So this book decides it for you. Twenty eight days, every meal named, every shopping list written, and only four dinners to cook in a week, because Thursday repeats Monday and Friday repeats Tuesday on purpose.

Who wrote it
I’m Laura, a UK registered nurse. I qualified nine years ago, started on a surgical colorectal ward, and spent years on thirteen hour shifts eating whatever was nearest. I have been the patient as well as the nurse.
Every claim in this book is checked against NHS and NICE guidance, and the book names its sources so you can check them too. No supplements, no sponsors, and nothing to buy afterwards.
